About Todd

De Aet Amateur is Latin for the Art of the Amateur.

I am an IT Director by day and self-taught amateur photographer in my limited free time, that just wants to share some of the beauty I am fortunate to see. 

Based out of the Denver, Colorado area, my goal is to share my perspective with those that may never get to witness these things for themselves.

I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by so much beauty in this state, but I would like to think I find amazing things no matter where I am.  However, most of the time my cameras catch something completely different than what my eyes see.  On the rare occasion that the stars align and my photos represent what I saw, I like to share some of them with you.
